Creamy Corn Pudding

This is an old, old recipe that has been in our family for many years.  Loved by most – some don’t like the nutmeg 🤣

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • Fill can corn half way with milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Pour into 8×8 greased baking dish
  3. Sprinkle nutmeg on top
  4. Place a few pats of butter on top
  5. Place in a pan with water
  6. Bake for 1 hour at 350°
