Honey Garlic Salmon
We have a few different Salmon recipes but this one is definitely one of our favorites.
Ingredients

- 7-8 Salmon portions – I get these from Costco typically – there’s 7 or 8 portions in a bag
- 2 T olive oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 T soy sauce – you can use low sodium if you choose
- 1/2 cup honey – I use local honey but you can use what you prefer
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper
- Add oil to a large skillet – medium – high heat
- Once hot, add the salmon portions (if they don’t all fit in the pan, cook and remove until all cooked)
- Cook for 4 – 5 minutes per side or until it’s cooked thoroughly
- While cooking, mix the lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and garlic
- Remove cooked salmon and set aside
- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and let it heat up and bubble for a few minutes to thicken
- Add the salmon back to the pan
- Spoon the mixture over each portion.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
I typically serve with rice. I also double the sauce mixture to have enough to pour over the salmon and rice. Fresh asparagus also goes nicely as the vegetable.
