Honey Garlic Salmon

Recipe by BevCrockett

We have a few different Salmon recipes but this one is definitely one of our favorites.

Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

Scale
  • 78 Salmon portions – I get these from Costco typically – there’s 7 or 8 portions in a bag
  • 2 T olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 2 T soy sauce – you can use low sodium if you choose
  • 1/2 cup honey – I use local honey but you can use what you prefer
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper
  2. Add oil to a large skillet – medium – high heat
  3. Once hot, add the salmon portions (if they don’t all fit in the pan, cook and remove until all cooked)
  4. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes per side or until it’s cooked thoroughly
  5. While cooking, mix the lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and garlic
  6. Remove cooked salmon and set aside
  7. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and let it heat up and bubble for a few minutes to thicken
  8. Add the salmon back to the pan
  9. Spoon the mixture over each portion.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

I typically serve with rice.  I also double the sauce mixture to have enough to pour over the salmon and rice.    Fresh asparagus also goes nicely as the vegetable.
