My Story
I have been blogging since….2009, whoa!
I started blogging in 2009, back when things looked very, VERY different. Blogger was the place, and I spent hours perfecting a site filled with music, pictures, and busy backgrounds—every detail carefully chosen. At the heart of it all was one simple goal: to document my family’s life.
Our adventures.
Our family time.
Our quiet, everyday moments.
And here I am,seventeen years later; that intention hasn’t really changed.
What has changed is me.
Now, I’m less focused on how it looks and more focused on what it holds. I want a space where my family can come back someday and grab one of their favorite recipes, reminisce about an adventure, know how strong God’s grace is and remember the details—not just what we did, but how it felt. How we loved. How we weathered storms. How God was our foundation. How things were different… and how, in so many ways, they stayed the same.
This is that space. I’m glad you’re here.
And my friend, I am so, so happy to say that I get to do life with this guy – our goals are the same, our love of Jesus is the same and we are doing our best to live life to the fullest.

Our adventures. Sometimes spent right at home and sometimes catching a sunrise and sunset in another town but regardless, we find ways to enjoy the Simple life.
My journey to accept God’s grace includes daily intention. Reading. Studying. Sharing. Capturing my journey in hopes of helping others deepen their relationship with God.
