Baked Shrimp with Garlic & Lemon Butter Sauce

Recipe by Bev Crockett

With seafood being a weekly meal for us, I am always looking for options.  I stumbled upon this Shrimp recipe from Cooking Classy  so gave it a whirl and it is definitely one we will have again.

Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined – I get the 3 lb. bag from Sam’s Club
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • 4 T fresh lemon juice
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper flakes, to taste – definitely optional
  • 2 T minced fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add garlic and saute for a few minutes.
  4. Stir lemon juice into butter mixture
  5. Place shrimp in baking dish
  6. Pour butter mixture over the shrimp
  7. Season with Salt and Pepper and red pepper flakes if you choose
  8. Stir the shrimp around to get evenly coated
  9. Bake until shrimp are cooked through (pink and opaque) about 9 – 13 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm, spooning sauce over shrimp

Notes

I served over rice with a small garden salad and bread.

Thanks for stopping by – until next time, may your days be grace filled, your kitchen warm and your heart rooted right where you are. 🩶
