Swiss Chard

Recipe by BevCrockett

Honestly, I had never fixed this until last year when we our local produce family suggested.   So here we are!  And it’s such an easy, quick vegetable to fix.

Swiss Chard

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 – 4 leaves of Swiss chard
  • Olive oil
  • 3 – 4 garlic cloves
  • Parmesan cheese – freshly grated – I get this at Costco and grate

Instructions

  1. Cut the leaves away from the stems of the Swiss chard
  2. Chop up the stems and leaves
  3. Drizzle Olive oil in medium skillet
  4. Add the stems and garlic, tossing until soft – about 5 minutes
  5. Add the chopped leaves
  6. Cook another 4  – 5 minutes
  7. Remove from the pan and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  8. Serve warm  –  enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by – until next time, may your days be grace filled, your kitchen warm and your heart rooted right where you are. 🩶
