- 32 oz Beef broth

- place been roast on top of onions.
- Sprinkle Au Jus gravy mix and Italian dressing mix onto beef
- Add the beef broth
- Cover and cook on low for 6 – 8 hours or until beef is ‘fork’ tender.
- After cooking, remove roast and strain broth into a bowl.
- Broth can be used for french dip sandwiches or for open faced roast beef sandwiches. (See Below)
- Slice roast beef into thin slices.
- Make sandwiches by using onions, beef and provolone cheese.
- Wrap sandwiches in foil and warm in oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Unwrap, serve and enjoy.
Notes
The original recipe was from The Cookie Rookie.
Note – if you choose gravy over dipping sauce, mix a heaping table spoon of cornstarch with enough milk to make a paste. Bring broth to boil on stove then add the mixture to thicken for gravy.
Serve with fries or your choice of starch and a veggie.
