Spinach Ravioli Lasagna

Recipe by BevCrockett

This is quick and easy but has that homemade taste.  Perfect for a busy week night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pasta Prima Frozen Spinach & Mozzarella ravioli (I get the big bag from Costco)
  • 45 oz. Prego Spaghetti Sauce – we like a lot of sauce, you may prefer less
  • 2 cups Mozzarella shredded cheese
  • McCormick Roasted Garlic Herb seasoning
  • 1 T Olive oil
  • Oregano

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil in 4-5 quart pot
  2. Add 1/2 of the bag of Ravioli
  3. Boil softly for 6 – 8 minutes – do not over cook or the cheese will come out
  4. Spoon cooked ravioli out into colander – this is to avoid breaking the ravioli
  5. Drizzle Olive oil over the ravioli
  6. Sprinkle seasoning and toss
  7. Add Sauce to bottom of baking dish (9 x 13)
  8. Place 1/2 of the ravioli on the sauce
  9. Top with Mozzarella cheese
  10. Place remaining sauce on top of cheeese
  11. Place remaining ravioli on top as next layer
  12. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese
  13. Sprinkle oregano on top
  14. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes (can broil if you prefer crispy cheese0
  15. Serve with salad and garlic bread

Notes

I keep a bag of this frozen ravioli on hand along with the Prego sauce.  It’s an easy meal when on the run.
